Research Participants
Georgia Tech is currently looking for adults 50 and older who are interested in being part of a health technologies research network called HomeLab. We are evaluating new home health and wellness products to determine their effectiveness and suitability for seniors.
- Evaluations vary between 1 and 6 months.
- There is no cost to you, and you will be compensated for your time and effort.
- A telephone interview followed by an in-home interview will get you started.
Your involvement in the HomeLab research network will take place over an extended period of time, although you may choose to leave the network at any time. During this period we will have various products to evaluate. Each product assessment will vary in length, but will typically last between one and six months. As we receive new products, we will assess whether each product is a good fit for you and your home. If it is, we will contact you and see if you are interested in evaluating that particular product. You always have the right to decline, and if you choose to do so, then we will contact you the next time we have a product for you. If you and your spouse are both over 50, you may both be eligible to participate in the study.
